An assignment in progress at home and gorgeous spring weather, so Hubby and I went out for the day.
The Botanic Gardens maybe wasn't the best choice after all. Not only was it full of children chasing the wildlife around (seeing that always ruins my mood) but there was an intermittent very unpleasant smell drifting around (like some kind of solvent?).
But as we walked further from the entrance there was less of the smell and less people apart from a few who were genuinely interested in appreciating the flora and fauna.
I'm sorry I didn't note down the names of everything. The red flowers that really caught our attention are waratahs.
