This weekend's Open Garden was at the South African High Commission. Beautiful Cape Dutch style buildings and lush expansive gardens featuring bulbs, annuals, camellias, hellebores, a wonderful assortment of trees (some planted by former ambassadors and distinguished visitors), proteas and agapanthus (the latter not yet flowering but they must be a beautiful sight in summer).
