Blossoms

On our way to the nursery I stopped to have a closer look at a small stand of blossom trees in Weston Park. Absolutely glorious!

Lovely Crab Apples.
Canberra has lots of them.
Pale pink one with red buds and white flowers, is Malus floribunda. One of my favourites.
I still have one growing here in Robbo.
.
The darker pink forms are a range of hybrids - Malus x eleyi will lead you to the group. Lots of variation amongst them.
Regards
Denis

Thanks for that info Denis! I love the pale pink with red buds one, was wondering what exactly it is and whether I could squeeze one in here somewhere, probably not.
