The French agricultural show took place last week in Paris. The stars were the candidates to the presidency...
I wonder how our shows compare. Canberra is the biggest one I've been to, but it's not really very big. The Sydney one is huge and runs for at least a week I think. It's interesting that those two shows of ours are at the end of the growing season, sort of a harvest festival with displays of pumpkins and so on, and yours is a spring event.
Oh yes, you have an election coming up. It can be funny sometimes watching what political candidates will do for a photo opportunity.
Oh, I see... I googled to see if I had missed anything. There has been a little bit about the French election on the news here but with all the news about the US election and our own recent leadership tug-of-war I think I've stopped paying so much attention to all the fun and games.
