Commonwealth Park

Although at the moment I seem to have a million things that needed to be done yesterday I was a little desperate to capture the wonderful colours of autumn so off I went to Commonwealth Park. Located near the city centre on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin, it is the home of the Floriade festival every spring and preparations are already under way. But on this visit it was the deciduous trees that were the main attraction. Well, this'll probably be it for a while, I do have a lot of catching up to do and I find it hard to drag myself away from a well heated room in winter.
